Edwin Ramirez, Sr., 55, of Coatesville, PA, husband of Nirza Ramirez Jimenez, passed on Saturday, March 6, 2010.
Born in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico, April 4, 1954, he was the son of Zenaida Jimenez and the late Juan Ramirez.
He moved to Pennsylvania at a young age and attended Henderson High School. He was a truck driver for many places and later was a supervisor at wire and cable specialties for over twenty-five years until he became ill.
Mr. Ramirez was a member of St. Agnes Parish, Roman Catholic Church of West Chester where he was a volunteer for them and St. Cecelia Roman Catholic Church and he was involved in marriage encounter.
Surviving besides his wife are four sons, Edwin Ramirez, Jr., Stephen Ramirez, Edward Negron, all of Coatesville and Angel Ren Negron of Philadelphia, PA; six grandchildren; one brother, Wilfredo Ramirez of Puerto Rico; three sisters and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
