Madeline Mullen Flowers, 90, of Fayetteville, NC, formerly of Chester County, wife of the late William P. Flowers, Sr.
Born July 22, 1919, she was the daughter of the late William Mullen, Sr. and Goldie Mae Washington Mullen. Ms. Madeline was a member of Mt. Raymond UAME Church in Downingtown, where she sang on the choir in her younger years.
Surviving to cherish her memory, four daughters, Madelyn Stokes of Fayetteville, NC, Grace Elizabeth Delaware of Fayetteville, NC, Carol Westmoreland wife of Willie of Wagontown, PA, and Dorothy Kelly of Coatesville, PA; two sons, Thomas Flowers and Harry Flowers, Sr. both of Coatesville, PA; three grandchildren she raised, Stanley Cropper Jr. of Fayetteville, NC, Dina Holmes of Coatesville, and Clayton Flowers of West Chester, PA; 16 other grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren, 28 great great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Elsie King of Ardmore, PA and a brother, Harry Mullen of Alabama.
